Our Mission Statement
As a learning organisation, Kinderinsel Weiße Stadt is guided by democratic core values and places the children entrusted to its care at the centre of its educational activities. Based on the Berlin Education Programme, the situational approach, and open, movement-oriented practices, we support children individually in their development, foster their independence, and provide reliable educational and childcare services. In doing so, we make an important contribution to social cohesion and to achieving a work-life balance in the Berlin borough of Reinickendorf.
