The weather is getting nicer and with that our desire to be out and about together is growing. This time our excursion took us to the nearby Schäfersee, which had plenty to offer for our youngest members.
As soon as they arrived, many children immediately headed to the playground, where they climbed, slid and made a lot of noise. But it wasn’t just playing that was the focus. There was plenty to discover around the lake. Especially exciting was the area by the shore. There we watched the ducks leisurely glide across the water or approach us curiously. Time and again we watched, admired and asked questions.
Back at the daycare center, it quickly became apparent how eventful the morning had been. For some, the lunch was more difficult than usual. The fatigue was simply too great. Many children took advantage of the rest time to thoroughly recover and process the many impressions of the day.
