„Oh, look at this!“ … this phrase was heard over and over again outside our daycare center this afternoon. Together with our dedicated parent representatives, a colorful flea market was recently organized, inviting many families to browse, discover, and linger.
There was a wide variety of things to discover at the lovingly set up stands. From toys to children's clothing to popular Tonie figures, there was something for everyone. Time and again people looked at the items, compared them, and of course, they also found a few little favorites.
We at the daycare center also wanted to participate in this special afternoon. That’s why things got really busy in our kitchen as early as the morning. With great joy, the children helped out. Children while baking our cake stand. It was stirred, decorated, and of course, we also tried it out curiously from time to time. The scent of fresh cake soon filled the rooms and made the anticipation for the afternoon even greater.
While we were browsing around outside and chatting with each other, our cake stand invited many visitors to a small break. Over coffee and cake, pleasant conversations, happy laughter, and a particularly beautiful atmosphere of togetherness were created.
At the end of the afternoon, many families went home satisfied. With little treasures, full hands and beautiful memories. For us, it was quickly clear: This was definitely not the last time… we would like to come again.
